Photo Shootout #2 -- People

Aha! Aha! Now that I understand the rules...i.e. there are no rules...and older photographs are allowed, I think. Maybe. In any case, it doesn't really matter. Here are a selection of old photographs...from 1969 to the present...of people. Stories behind each one, but not for today. Although I will honor requests for stories behind them. And if there isn't a story behind one of them, I'll make one up, of course.

E. Foster Atkinson (my Dad's nearest neighbor when he was hermit)

1976, Preparing for the Bicentennial in Boston

Taganga, Colombia, South America

Oaxaca, Mexico (which I finally learned is pronounced Juahaca)

  1. Intriguing photographs. They tell a story of a kind, but it would be good to know the real one behind each.

  7. Hahaha, another shootout. This might be the 3rd blog with the same topic. Just got back from Patty and Barry's sites, they were awesome too!

I'm very curious about Mr. Atkinson!

  10. No. There are never any rules in our shoot outs!

Love your take on your photos. I especially like the first photo.

The guy talking to the statue is newspaper worthy!

Hope to see you next week. You can do 1 or 10 photos, or 100 if you are so inclined. The point is to highlight our towns, and meet people around the world.

I will link you to my my post (I still have to link the others).

Barry will be picking next week's theme.
