I've got the Rolling Stones going on in my head this morning. "She comes in colors everywhere. She's like a rainbow." I don't think I've got the lyrics all right but the song is playing internally as I post this.
This one visited my backdoor, right on cue.
I'm just glad the theme wasn't "Tax Collectors"
A swirlie -- I saw the ones in
Nalley Valley's shoot-out and had to do one too.
Finally a house that I pass every day on my way to work -- thanks for the motivation to go shoot it this week.
Love love the houses and the chairs.
ReplyDeleteAnd I wrote a blog about that song earlier in the year ...it's my favourite ...
Colorful selection this week and the swirlie is fantastic! I cracked up when I read your tax collector quip!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you especially this weekend.
Hi Mark! Loved all of it. The swirlie was cool, oh and i loved the Andironack? chairs. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBreathe....be yourself, she'll remember.xx♥
How does a double rainbow happen? Did you buy a lottery ticket? On Wednesday, the biggest ever won lottery tcket was 36 million dollars. Lots of people queue up to buy. i didn't buy, and the winning ticket went to another town. I joked, just as well i didn't buy.
ReplyDeleteLike those pastel colour buildings. That pink one, surely it is not someone's house?
I'm glad the theme wasn't tax collectors either!
ReplyDeleteAnd you got a real rainbow photo. I'm impressed.
I loved the colourful beach houses!
Would you give a hearty welcome to Mary in Kansas this week - she has lovely rainbow photos.
ReplyDeleteVery colourful contribution. The cottage pics remind me of vacationing on the coast of Maine. Ahhh! Good ol' Summer.
ReplyDeleteLove the chairs and the houses! And the swirly, whirly thing. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteDitto on the tax collector sentiments!
PS..glad they found your governor! Wee bit of a rascal, isn't he!
short and sweet, the phots are as always the best, I like the row of chairs the best. wouldn't those swirly thingys look good painted on a childs bedroom wall, or as a shower curtain, really interesting to look at. (to tell the truth I wrote bathroom wall first then though you might take it wrong - I really like interesting paintings or photos in bathrooms, so it was a clean and innocent thought)
ReplyDeletewhew, stunning pics....do you always roam around with a cam??The rainbow and the house looks as if they stood for you to be captured.
ReplyDeletethis theme has produced the most interesting photos from various blogs. Much better than my pathetic blog about rainbows last week.
ReplyDeleteRow of chairs looks so inviting. I think I could sit there and watch the world go by all day long. I also love the swirl, it's just way cool.
ReplyDeleteGood luck this weekend. Will be thinking about yall :)
Great pictures, Mark. Love the swirl :-) Your area is very colorful.
ReplyDeleteHey, great pictures.
ReplyDeleteThought for sure you would do Rainbow Row. Always enjoyed walking along Rainbow Row down to The Battery.
Love the colors on the beach! Brings back memories of childhood vacations.
ReplyDeleteI love your rainbow shot, I mean the real rainbow. aren't they just so cool to see? I love all of the colorful houses on the beach. I have never seen houses like that before. fantastic post B&B.
ReplyDeleteThe swirl looks so natural I didn't realize it was an "effect" until I checked out Nalley's blog. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteAs usual you have me laughing over here with your witty comments! I really love the way your mind works and how you get all those thoughts down into black and white for us!! Love the colorful beach houses, those are spectacular. But the winner is ---- that house with the rainbow right on the side!! I was actually hoping for rain this week thinking perhaps a rainbow might show up, but we had sunshine all the way this time! Why is it that weather can never co-operate when we want it to. You sure did get lucky with that rainbow shot near your home, and it looks like a double one!! Fantastic!! Debby
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow outside your door is a good omen of a wonderful week coming for you! I love your shoot-out pics and especially the swirlie.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!=D
I love the color of those houses! how daring!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy, joy, joy! Your rainbow post makes me want to sing and dance. I think I will do just that. Is Bagman busy?
ReplyDeleteYou know I really love that house?
We used to live in Alabama and I always loved the pink, yellow, and aqua houses along the coast. Guess you must have them in Charleston too: pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe double rainbow is so cool. I saw one once when I was a kid. Or was it two?
ReplyDeleteThose pink and green houses are so cool!
Great shots! Love all the colors! I like the pin and green houses, too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Is that a pink roof beside a green house? I wonder if those two neighbors get along ....
ReplyDeleteThe view behind your house is one to die for. Reminds me of the golf course. We want more real singing instead of virtual melodies. Great photos! I always enjoy your shoot-out posts, and then end up stuck, riveted to your blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably still here somewhere, wandering around, snooping.
What an awesome collection of beachy rainbow colored photos. That second one is so cool! Loved them all!
ReplyDeleteThose houses on the beach are just eye-wateringly colourful - Just off to check those swirlies, Sirs! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful world it wold be if we all painted our houses the colours of the rainbow.Beautiful.
