Hometown Shootout - Rainbow Colors

I've got the Rolling Stones going on in my head this morning. "She comes in colors everywhere. She's like a rainbow." I don't think I've got the lyrics all right but the song is playing internally as I post this.

This one visited my backdoor, right on cue.
I'm just glad the theme wasn't "Tax Collectors"

A swirlie -- I saw the ones in Nalley Valley's shoot-out and had to do one too.

Finally a house that I pass every day on my way to work -- thanks for the motivation to go shoot it this week.

  4. How does a double rainbow happen? Did you buy a lottery ticket? On Wednesday, the biggest ever won lottery tcket was 36 million dollars. Lots of people queue up to buy. i didn't buy, and the winning ticket went to another town. I joked, just as well i didn't buy.

Like those pastel colour buildings. That pink one, surely it is not someone's house?

  9. short and sweet, the phots are as always the best, I like the row of chairs the best. wouldn't those swirly thingys look good painted on a childs bedroom wall, or as a shower curtain, really interesting to look at. (to tell the truth I wrote bathroom wall first then though you might take it wrong - I really like interesting paintings or photos in bathrooms, so it was a clean and innocent thought)

  18. As usual you have me laughing over here with your witty comments! I really love the way your mind works and how you get all those thoughts down into black and white for us!! Love the colorful beach houses, those are spectacular. But the winner is ---- that house with the rainbow right on the side!! I was actually hoping for rain this week thinking perhaps a rainbow might show up, but we had sunshine all the way this time! Why is it that weather can never co-operate when we want it to. You sure did get lucky with that rainbow shot near your home, and it looks like a double one!! Fantastic!! Debby

  26. The view behind your house is one to die for. Reminds me of the golf course. We want more real singing instead of virtual melodies. Great photos! I always enjoy your shoot-out posts, and then end up stuck, riveted to your blog.
I'm probably still here somewhere, wandering around, snooping.
