Ha! Good one! That year I was wondering why the room had less and less space with two 13 month apart babies pulling me in two different directions. I had no were to run! Oh, I just realized, I was in shape from running after them when they learned to walk...
I had a dream I was running the other night, boy I woke up and felt great, then I fell out of the bed, seriously...
Oh dear, stormy '80s in my home country. Exhilarating politically among Polish youth, enjoying the communist free world where I could buy Orwell's "1984" in a shop rather, than photocopied pieces of paper from an underground "printers". Running certainly into what seemed then a brighter future.
you look like you are in good form. wonderful to be young and pushing to be healthy - don't like the beard though.

Hey, I like the beard Mark.
ReplyDeleteWho knows what future awaits us? But who cares, as long as we can run away from it when it arrives.

ReplyDeleteOoops I lied, 1985 I was pregnant with the first...oh btw you inspired my Muse Monday post this morning, and I hope your headache is better...

ReplyDeleteFrom what all you have told us about some of your antics, maybe you were running away from something, even though you are running in circles.
ReplyDeleteQMM
Hahaha - OK, I'm going to be REALLY mean here and tell you that 1985 is the year I graduated from High School, turned 18, and moved to University. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou were thinking of circles back then? They're sort of hard to let go of, aren't they:) Do you still run?
ReplyDeleteIn 1985 I was also running ... without a beard!
ReplyDeleteWere you in front of - or behind - all the other runners? :-)
