Friday Hometown Photo Shootout -- Domesticated Animals?

I really thought the theme was "Exploration of a Building" which might have replaced  insects and bugs.  I should really keep up better.  At least I have my building exploration already prepared for next week (unless it was last week).

Th...Th....Th....That's all, folks!

  1. Heya, Mark, isn't it, like, three am over your way?
Your enthousiasm for the building Shoot is wonderful! But it's Oct 2. Not next week. In the meantime there's My Favorite Place to _____.

I love your photos. That dog, the patient horse...

  2. Don't have to have many photos if they are good ones, the top two show that one photo is worth a 1000 words, and the last makes me eager to see your building, showing detail is what you do well.

  7. Well, since you worked so hard on your buildings we will forgive you. You should have put a frame around the cows head and you could have had a clever window take on the animals. I know. That is why you used the cropped closeup. I am supposed to imagine a window there.

Have a great weekend. All three of you.

I love how the horse is looking right at you.

  9. I love these photos. I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like the best. The dog is so cute and looks so sad and then there's the horse. He is awesome. And the cow, well, it's a cute cow.

  11. Fun, clever shots -- the dog does look sad, love the horse -- looks like one that I had, and the cow, well, I repeat JarieLyn, he/she/it is cute. And you've been up since when????? Bet you're glad the weekend is coming up!

    Enjoy!

  12. Mark,
The pictures are better than the ones they publish on jigsaw puzzles. They are so soft and expressive. Thanks for sharing..... 3 am?

  14. You could re-cycle those first two for the "buildings" theme. But you have that finished already, don't you? Love the expressions you captured on your animals.

  21. Aw. If you don't want to go and hug that poor puppy, you don't have a heart! Very moving photos. Of course, I'm an animal lover, so I'm a bit biased!
