Thanks for the comments on my room. Some day soon I'll take a wider shot. My wife suggested I combine two work areas so the the other side has a work area set up on an old ping pong table that I use for cutting mattes and framing pictures.
SARAH LULU -- Thanks for noticing the painting of the woman behind me. It is a painting of my mother who died when I was seven. It was done by my grandfather -- I was raised by my grandparents when my mother died and my dad, an alcoholic like myself, couldn't raise me. My grandfather was an artist and sculptor and pretty well known in his time, although not much remembered now.
Cozy room...it appears to be a perfect 'blog-creation' envirnonment!
