Several of the folks I follow periodially post haiku which prods the poet within me that has been on retreat for a few years...but I had to add one, at least:
I attempted a haiku thanks to Dave's treatise reminding me how rich haiku is...but mine do not always bring a smile, I fear. Now go inside and put on those heavy socks your wife bought you and get warm.
I bet you are still picking out prickles. You better stay indoors until you are ready to tackle this winter weather. Mark your words are my laugh for the day. Thanks Please take care of yourself QMM
I promise I'm not stalking you. I just posted a blog too and saw your new one pop up on my sight. This one made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am stalking you, because I like people with a good sense of humor...
ReplyDeleteOuch. Watch your step.
ReplyDeleteI am probably the least poetic person on the planet. Even a three-line Haiki overwhelms me.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the haiku! so now you've got broken arm, and bandaged foot?

ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeletePerhaps because your arm is broken and you weren't able to tie your shoes?
ReplyDeleteOf course making a haiku, you had to do it your way - fortunately! :-)
