At the very last minute, I realized, I couldn't completely back out of the Friday Shootout. Plus, I was interested to find out what Bokeh was since I didn't really have a clue. I may still not really have it.
And I didn't want to use to make fake Bokeh. After all, there is an old saying: "Don't fix what isn't bokeh."
So here are three quick ones.
I'll be back more consistently one of these days. Miss you all.
i laughed at your comment "don't fix what isn't bokeh! I know, I nearly did a fake one too! I love your duck shot! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeletelove that second shot, and the mental image of you hunting the shot all day, to get it just right!
ReplyDeleteI'll line up with the duck brigade. Cute! Miss you too and hope that your explorations produce the answer/solution you need.
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you back Mark. But what the heck is that in the top photo? I love the baby duck in the middle shot but its the top one that has me puzzled.
ReplyDeleteGood use of bokeh though.
Awesome! Such an unusual view in the second photo. Cracked me up!
ReplyDeletethe gosling is wonderful - he (she?) looks like he is saying 'do I have to?'
ReplyDeletethe last though is my fav.... to get those wasps inside a bush shows your master's touch.
Oh yes, love the little duck. It looks like it is paused on the brink, trying to decide between two evils, the unknown in front or the known behind. And I think the last shot is incredible!
ReplyDeleteTake care of you!
You did very well!!! Your little duck is my absolute favorite...so cute, so bokeh, so perfect!!!
ReplyDeletemagnificent photos!

ReplyDeletepoor duckling, the picture ahead is so bokeh that he doesn't know what to do. LOL
ReplyDeleteSo interesting that most of us was really bokeh as to what to do. In fact, in Singapore, we use the term blur very often when expressing we didn't know what to do, BOKEH.
the second one made me chuckle. always get a good feeling visiting here. great shoot out post!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, I really like the duck photo, the lighting is very nice! And I like that old saying lol =)
