Gracie and Conner

Spent most of the weekend entertaining Grandson Conner and Gracie (Karen's cousin's daughter).

Gracie started out kind of bored...or sleepy...or maybe acting for the camera...hard to tell with her since she has a kind of Bagman impishness about her.

And Conner was studying automechanics. "I think you need a new muffler, lady."

But when they both woke up, they ran me ragged. (And Sally makes a cameo appearance at the very end, no where near as frantic as the camera man).

  2. Embarassing to be huffing and puffing so much and then see Sally just walking leisurely along behind them.

  5. Too funny! I said "And the dog follows" and then you said it on the video. That was cute. I'll bet the kids had a great time.

  6. What a great video! Kudo's to Gracie for making most of the journey on her knees! And kudo's to Grandpa for racing around the house recording the journey! Good job!

  7. The dog always gets sucked in to the antics of children! I loved the video! It so reminded me of my grandchildren. Gracie is the bees knees and little Conner looked like he was enjoying every minute. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

  8. I wish I had knees like Gracie's. You're right, she does have an impishness about her. Connor seems to be taking the world in stride, going with equanimity wherever Gracie pushes him. And Sally -- well there's a dog's life for you.

  9. To be "babysitter" (sorry, Gracie is not baby any more) can be so nice, but also so... !

  11. Have to agree with Miles -- were you ready for Monday? I wouldn't have been, good thing I'm retired, but then I don't have any grandkids, so really don't have to worry!

Have a great week and catch your breath.
